Every couple years we have a wedding that just reminds us why we do what we do. This was one of those. What a beautiful story these two shared as they “officially” said their vows to one another on this amazing day. Surrounded by their family and friends wearing their “Derby Best” they hugged and loved, danced and enjoyed every minute of this amazing day. Circle S Ranch – Kamin and Mike – Creative Films KC Wedding Videography

This wedding is special on several different levels – I have known Kamin for quite a few years from our shared gym and we have become friends. So when she asked me to create a wedding film for her I was thrilled. When she told me what she and Mike had in mind for their wedding day I was beyond excited. I have heard brides and grooms say that if they aren’t having a big lavish wedding they don’t need a video. I think that couldn’t be farther from the truth. Kamin and Mike’s sneak peek is a testament to that. They chose to have their wedding ceremony in the Prairie with just their children. They said their own vows and sweet words to all the kids. After their ceremony they went back to the lodge at Circle S ranch and celebrated with family and friends. It was the perfect day. Just watch this sneak peek and tell me that a small intimate wedding doesn’t need a film. I dare you. Without a film these words might be forgotten. Mary and J.W. – Kansas City Wedding Videography – Feature Wedding Film

It is always a mystery to me exactly how a couple’s wedding story will come together. We pay close attention all day on wedding days to capture every little interaction and moment, look and touch but still never quite sure how each day will come together in a film until we get to the final edit. This day had so much of all of these things – so many meaningful touches, glances and lovely moments, but I think it was the words that brought it all together. I loved that both Mary and J.W.’s dad’s had such sweet words during their toasts and special family and friends too! It is clear how important family is to these two and very easy to see that they have a beautiful future together. Please let the entire video load first, as it is a little longer than usual – you won’t want to miss a second!

Oh my goodness. These two are the sweetest pair! So much joy on their faces and everyone around them – it was the most beautiful wedding day. Mary planned every last detail with the help of Christine with Celebrations of Love and truly had her dream wedding. Our Lady of Sorrows looked like a painting with the soft pink next to the ornate alter and marble and I don’t think Dark Horse Distillery has ever looked so amazing. And that bridal gown! Breathtaking! This little trailer will have to hold you until the highlight wedding film is released! It will be stunning!
