Katja and Ari – Kansas City Wedding Video – Highlight Film

Jun 30

There are families that come into our lives that somehow seem to leave a mark. I loved getting to know Katja and Ari and their story. We were able to attend their rehearsal dinner and capture some beautiful toasts as well and so much of their story will have to wait for their feature film, but you can get a glimpse of their amazing day and the love they have for each other and their family and friends here in this highlight. I LOVE the traditions in a Jewish wedding day and they had the most wonderful Tish and Bedeken while surrounded by so many special people. Kelley Flora Ruf did an amazing job designing this wedding with the team from Trapp and Company and I don’t think the Kauffman Center OR The Westin have ever looked better!

Family Films are BACK! Baby Luke and Mom and Dad! Super8 Film

Jun 12

Oh boy – there is nothing like the sounds of baby babble. I really truly cherish this sound. I didn’t make enough videos of my own kids when they were little. At least I didn’t make “good” ones. I did the normal shaky handheld camcorder recordings and they are still amazing and precious, but I wish I had something like this with my husband and I actually interacting with our kids when they were tiny AND growing up. Take a minute to join Luke and his family for a few sweet moments this spring at The Nelson-Atkins. Sweet and simple moments like these are so fleeting. Everyone always told me that when the kids were little. I never believed them because the days felt so long. But they were right. It goes way too fast.

Ian and Jill – Kansas City Wedding Videography – Highlight Video

Apr 4

You just have to love a couple who has their “fur-baby” as a ring bearer. Jill and Ian were such a pleasure to work with on their wedding day and had so many beautiful details that Kelley Ruf and Trapp Floral created for them. Not to mention an intimate ceremony at the most charming little chapel and AMAZING reception at my favorite Kansas City venue, The Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art. But I think the thing that I loved about this day the most was watching these two celebrate their long road to becoming a family. They have known each other since they were children and just watching them together and with their families it is clear they are meant to be together and will have a long happy life together. Plus, they had their fur-babies at their wedding! You really can’t beat that!

Jocelyn and Paul – Omaha Wedding Video – Surprise Wedding

Oct 17

A surprise wedding! Yes, really. And these two pulled it off PERFECTLY! I am going to make you learn the story and how they managed this amazing day in their own words – yes, you will have to watch the video! They were beautiful, their guests were THRILLED and surprised and had the most wonderful time! I have a soft side for any type of gallery wedding and this one was stunning! Nothing better than having beautiful artwork as your backdrop at a reception. I think the best was the drapery and the special wall of donuts which some of the guests were a little afraid to touch as I think they thought it was an instillation! It was so pretty! Thank you for letting me help you preserve this amazing day Jocelyn and Paul!
