After a month of some of the worst heat in Kansas City Laura and Jeremy had the most beautiful day for their wedding! Marquee Event Rental created the most beautiful clear tent for their backyard wedding reception and the floral and design planning team of Kindra Brown with Simple Elegance and Karyn Brooke with Sidelines Floral made this wedding day beyond beautiful! The sweet words from this day were by far my favorite thing however. Love the love these two have for each other!

Nolan gave Janelle perhaps the most wonderful wedding day gift I have seen – letters for her to open from him on special and ordinary days in their new life together. Take note Groom’s! Haircuts for the Homeless – Kansas City – National Award Winning Film

At a time in our culture where things are difficult and our view of humanity feels uncomfortable I like to look for the good. I’m not saying we should ignore the difficult, but I hope to just remember that there are so many GOOD PEOPLE in our city here to help and give and care just makes me feel better.

This little film just won two Telly Video Awards. I am very proud of that, but more so I am proud that I live in a city where there are amazing people who are giving of themselves in so many ways and happy to get to see the gratitude on the faces of those receiving such gifts.

Take a minute to watch this sweet little film. It might make you feel better too.

Shasta Retro Design – Kansas City Styled Shoot

Collaboration is one of my favorite things to do – especially when I am all caught up on other work! When I heard about this amazing shoot involving a super talented florist and designer, one of my favorite makeup and hair gals and a renovated Shasta camper I was all in! I am so glad!!!
