This was maybe the most amazing and beautiful thing I have had the honor to film, a birth. I have only been present for my own births of my two babies and honestly, they were a little bit tricky, so this was particularly amazing as it was the first birth I have really ever witnessed. Cade’s daddy was in Afghanistan fighting the war on the day he was born, but was able to be there via skype and phone. You will hear his voice throughout the film and see the little camera on the tripod facing Elizabeth. They chose to birth this baby at home in water, and the amount of support Elizabeth had that day was simply beautiful. There are really few words that can be said for this story, you really just have to watch. Congratulations Elizabeth and Jeremy, and welcome home.

We watched our video last night, and it was completely amazing. To be able to experience it together was beyond words. We both cried and needed to! It wasn’t after we watched it last night that we both felt like he had really come home. August was such a hard month for him, he lost the men in his unit less than two weeks before the baby was born, then had the joy of knowing his baby was born, yet the intense longing to be here.
I can’t tell you enough how much it meant to us. Your work is truly a gift. It was so much more than a home video – I can’t believe how you captured the emotions so well.
Thank you so much for having me there Elizabeth – it was an honor to be part of Cade’s birth day.
Oh wow. This was the best birth story video I’ve seen. Momma was so strong and so calm. Loved that her family and friends were there to support her. For some reason, having grandma there really moved me. I’m not a very emotional person, but I found myself fighting back tears!
