Kansas City Corporate Video – Telly Awards – we got two!

Aug 9

Well, this is always fun! We have been so crazy busy this summer with so much work that we haven’t had time to celebrate some pretty awesome accolades from work we did this past year! Creative Films earned two new Telly Awards for two very different projects for 2017! Telly Awards are a national award recognizing outstanding productions in the film and video industry.

This years winners were so very different and I think this illustrates why I love what I do so very much! The first video was a promotional piece I created for a local artist and jeweler. Kelly with MeritMade is amazing and talented and offers classes in her studio to artists and non-artists and needed a video to really show what it is they learn and make in her class. This was a super fun project and I HIGHLY recommend her class to anyone wanting to do something new and fun or someone who might want to get into making jewelry. It would make for an amazing gift too! ๐Ÿ™‚

The second winning video is completely different! We were approached by Jet.com to help them make a video for an internal event celebrating the culture and energy that makes this place a special place to work. We had a great time learning about the warehouse and the people who make Jet.com such a unique place to work and grow. We have done several more projects with Jet since this one, and look forward to a long partnership!

So much of the work on this blog is weddings, and we do LOVE weddings, but as you see we produce a whole lot more! Proud to add a few more of these Telly Awards to our shelf and look forward to more unique projects to come!

If you want to watch more corporate work, check out this collection!

Sarah and Mike – The Brass on Baltimore – Kansas City sneak peek wedding trailer

Aug 1

We got to know Sarah and Mike a few weeks before their wedding when we shot a sweet little Love Story interview for them to share with their guests on their wedding day. They made me feel at home the minute I walked into their house and I fell in love with both of them (and their puppydogs) immediately. Flash forward to the wedding day and it couldn’t have been more perfect. They had the most amazing team of creative Kansas City wedding professionals and their day was one of the prettiest we have had the honor to be part of this season. Even more special is how much these two are in love and the sweet looks they stole to each other all day long. Thank you so much Sarah and Mike for letting us be a part of your day!

Kansas City Wedding Videography – Hilton President – Anna and Jordan sneak peek trailer

These two couldn’t have been sweeter on this wedding day. They were both so joyful and had wonderful senses of humor and grace. Even when the limo had some trouble and we had to improvise a tad they didn’t let it phase them and we were able to get some shots in places we never would have discovered. What a great way to start a life together! Thank you for letting us help you preserve your wedding day – I can’t wait to edit your feature! Can we say, best first dance EVER?

I have always said what a treat and honor it is to be asked back to film a sibling or cousin of a former bride and groom, but this one might just beat out all the warm fuzzies for all time. I have known Maureen since she was in high school and babysat my kids when they were little! We have loved her for YEARS! So when I found out she was planning a wedding with a sweet boy she met at KState! and wanted us to film her wedding, I was BEYOND excited! So were my kids! ๐Ÿ™‚ Maureen and Nick, thank you for letting us help you capture this day – it was so special and beautiful and FUN – I can’t wait to edit your feature!
