I was so excited when I got the email from Dots asking if I would help them with Shawn’s proposal to Cassie. He had written them several weeks before asking for help in proposing to his girlfriend using her favorite IOS game, Dots. To his surprise they actually wrote back and were excited about helping him! We met the week before to do an interview and make a plan for the proposal so we would be hidden while shooting but still have a great shot and great audio. We managed to surprise Cassie and make a lovely little video for them to share with their family and friends! Congratulations Shawn and Cassie – hope you play Dots for years and years and years!

I loved Mollie right away when we met months ago to talk about her wedding day. I had filmed many of her friends weddings as well and we just hit it off from the start. When we talked a few months before the wedding day and she told me her Dad was very ill it broke my heart. I was preparing myself for a very difficult wedding day full of sadness and honestly was worried about getting through it with the memories of my own Dad’s fight. Mollie and Brian’s day couldn’t have been farther from what I had in my mind at all. It was one of the most joyful days I have filmed, filled with gratitude, love, celebration and happiness. Mollie and Brian glowed, their friends celebrated and their families were both so joyful. It was a beautiful day and I was so honored to have been included in it. Congratulations Mollie and Brian!

Rebecca and Jon had the most beautiful wedding day and I was so happy that they read their wedding day letters to each other. Rebecca had created a journal that she had been writing in for Jon during their engagement. This is where she wrote her note to him. Such a special and super sweet idea. I love the idea that they can add to this journal and go back to it every year. They have been together for a long time and it was such a joy to get to watch them officially start their life together.

A surprise wedding! Yes, really. And these two pulled it off PERFECTLY! I am going to make you learn the story and how they managed this amazing day in their own words – yes, you will have to watch the video! They were beautiful, their guests were THRILLED and surprised and had the most wonderful time! I have a soft side for any type of gallery wedding and this one was stunning! Nothing better than having beautiful artwork as your backdrop at a reception. I think the best was the drapery and the special wall of donuts which some of the guests were a little afraid to touch as I think they thought it was an instillation! It was so pretty!
