Every once in a while I save a little bit of something special back for a special Anniversary gift. This couple was super fun because pretty much all their family and friends came to Kansas City from New York & the East Coast to celebrate the most beautiful wedding weekend. Didn’t you know that Kansas City is the HOTTEST destination wedding location? Actually perhaps it should be! Beautiful museums, fabulous BBQ, friendly people, The Royals, and cows. Well, not too many cows really, but hopefully Jamie and Taylor didn’t mind that. The team at Simple Elegance did an amazing job keeping things calm and collected and of course the Nelson-Atkins was stunning with Trapp Floral Design making magic as usual. I shot a little bit of super8 film from my vintage super8 camera on this day and have been SAVING it all year to share with these two on their first wedding anniversary. Authentic super8 is tricky stuff and adds such a unique point of view on a wedding day. It is perfect for these two. Happy Anniversary!
