Happy New Year! It has been some time from my last post, mostly because after a marathon editing rampage before Christmas, I ended up with a pinched nerve in my neck and took some time off to heal and be with my family over Christmas.  This time was extended a little bit due to several snow days this week, but things should fall back to normal next week.  We had a great show today at The KC Star’s Bridal Spectacular and met LOTS of wonderful brides and their families.  Thank you to everyone who stopped by.  My 2010 is really filling up, so if you are interested in securing Creative Video for your wedding film, give me a call or email soon.  There are not many dates left.

I’ve got lots of postings to share with you – a new year’s baby, a wedding, and a great big family shoot – but for now, here are my little ones celebrating the beginning of 2010!  Well, mabye not the beginning  – more like 9pm, but we still celebrated!

Well, it is about time for a personal post.  I don’t do this very often, but really should post about my own kids more often.  Truth is, I take a crazy amount of photos and video of them and then never really get it edited.  I have STACKS of tapes and hard drives full of them. I figure I just keep taking footage and one day when I am all caught up I will edit it. 🙂 one day.

This is my latest exception – my first timelapse with the 5D – I am very excited about this media – and of course about the subject!  We have had this family tradition for quite a few years to make ravioli for xmas dinner.  It goes back to when my Mom was growing up and her Dad (Irish-Italian) made ravioli by hand for Christmas dinner. I remember going to visit and seeing pasta drying everywhere and my Grandpa covered in flour. So we have tried to match his recipe as closely as possible and put in a few of our own twists, and voila a old/new tradition is born!  This year we went to my Brother’s house – Audrey has become something of  a breadmaking wizard and it gets better every year!
