Kassie and Jeff – Kansas City Wedding Videography – Romantic Garden Wedding & Brunch

Jul 17

I think this wedding was as much of a gift to me as it was to Kassie and Jeff. They are the very first recipients of our wedding film giveaway and I couldn’t think of a sweeter couple to get to work with. It gives us so much joy to be able to give and share our art and this wedding was just so sweet and simple and lovely. They had a morning ceremony at the Loose Garden in Loose Park before it got too terribly hot and a fantastic brunch at the Loose Mansion in Kansas City. Stuffed french toast, biscuits and gravy and pie – ALL of my favorites! This is only the sneak peek – there is a beautiful highlight coming! Make sure you like Creative Films on our facebook page and check back to the blog often so you don’t miss it! Congratulations Kassie and Jeff – we are so happy we got to spend this special day with you!

The Brass on Baltimore – The Baltimore Club – Kansas City Styled Wedding Shoot

Jul 13

The new event space in the Baltimore Club’s top floor is beyond amazing. It has a modern open feel and is full of light with the most amazing view of downtown Kansas City. The balcony is breathtaking and the entire space is the perfect backdrop for a stunning wedding or special event. Kim Ho from You’re Invited Wedding and Event Planning, Leigh Miller Photography and Erin Volante Floral put together the most amazing styled shoot at this brand new venue. I was so happy to get to help them create a little behind the scenes video and show off so many talented Kansas City wedding vendors.

Kansas City Wedding Videography – Sneak Peek Trailer

Jul 7

This may have been one of the sweetest first looks we have filmed. These two chose to say personal vows at this very moment and they couldn’t have been more special. They were blessed with a beautiful summer day and perhaps some of the prettiest flowers I have ever seen. I have decided that I want to have rosemary springs surrounding me always. Congratulations – I can’t wait to edit the rest of your film!

Katja and Ari – Kansas City Wedding Video – Highlight Film

Jun 30

There are families that come into our lives that somehow seem to leave a mark. I loved getting to know Katja and Ari and their story. We were able to attend their rehearsal dinner and capture some beautiful toasts as well and so much of their story will have to wait for their feature film, but you can get a glimpse of their amazing day and the love they have for each other and their family and friends here in this highlight. I LOVE the traditions in a Jewish wedding day and they had the most wonderful Tish and Bedeken while surrounded by so many special people. Kelley Flora Ruf did an amazing job designing this wedding with the team from Trapp and Company and I don’t think the Kauffman Center OR The Westin have ever looked better!

Family Films are BACK! Baby Luke and Mom and Dad! Super8 Film

Jun 12

Oh boy – there is nothing like the sounds of baby babble. I really truly cherish this sound. I didn’t make enough videos of my own kids when they were little. At least I didn’t make “good” ones. I did the normal shaky handheld camcorder recordings and they are still amazing and precious, but I wish I had something like this with my husband and I actually interacting with our kids when they were tiny AND growing up. Take a minute to join Luke and his family for a few sweet moments this spring at The Nelson-Atkins. Sweet and simple moments like these are so fleeting. Everyone always told me that when the kids were little. I never believed them because the days felt so long. But they were right. It goes way too fast.
