This may have been one of the sweetest first looks we have filmed. These two chose to say personal vows at this very moment and they couldn’t have been more special. They were blessed with a beautiful summer day and perhaps some of the prettiest flowers I have ever seen. I have decided that I want to have rosemary springs surrounding me always. Congratulations – I can’t wait to edit the rest of your film!

Katja and Ari – Kansas City Wedding Video – Highlight Film

There are families that come into our lives that somehow seem to leave a mark. I loved getting to know Katja and Ari and their story. We were able to attend their rehearsal dinner and capture some beautiful toasts as well and so much of their story will have to wait for their feature film, but you can get a glimpse of their amazing day and the love they have for each other and their family and friends here in this highlight. I LOVE the traditions in a Jewish wedding day and they had the most wonderful Tish and Bedeken while surrounded by so many special people. Kelley Flora Ruf did an amazing job designing this wedding with the team from Trapp and Company and I don’t think the Kauffman Center OR The Westin have ever looked better!

I just loved the story about how these two found each other and how their meetings wove in and out of their lives for so many years before they really FOUND each other. So sweet. I think one of the things I loved about this day was hearing and seeing Emma notice and LOVE everything around her all day long. Sometimes it is hard to be present for the little details of a day that you have worked so hard to create because of all the other emotions that are swirling around you. Emma was present all day for her wedding and it was a beautiful thing to get to see. Congratulations Emma and Tyler, I am so happy we were able to celebrate with you and help you preserve all these moments!
