Sarah and Mike – The Brass on Baltimore – Kansas City sneak peek wedding trailer

Aug 1

We got to know Sarah and Mike a few weeks before their wedding when we shot a sweet little Love Story interview for them to share with their guests on their wedding day. They made me feel at home the minute I walked into their house and I fell in love with both of them (and their puppydogs) immediately. Flash forward to the wedding day and it couldn’t have been more perfect. They had the most amazing team of creative Kansas City wedding professionals and their day was one of the prettiest we have had the honor to be part of this season. Even more special is how much these two are in love and the sweet looks they stole to each other all day long. Thank you so much Sarah and Mike for letting us be a part of your day!

Kansas City Wedding Video – sneak peek film – Morgan and Carson

Jun 27

We have such a beautiful community in Kansas City and it is so lovely to see so many dear friends come together to make a couple’s day so sweet! These two lovebirds are high school sweethearts and had the most lovely day with their families and friends celebrating their wedding together. From Carson’s twin brother actually marrying them to the sweetest little details including a pink flamingo dancing, it was a beautiful day! Here is their darling first look and a few words from the heart to start!

Kansas City Wedding Videography – Outdoor Wedding – Katie and Joe Sneak Peek Wedding Film

Jun 22

I think this may have been one of the most beautiful outdoor wedding ceremonies we have filmed to date – the structure that was created for Katie and Joe’s ceremony was just breathtaking. And then when the guests entered the reception at Indian Hills Country Club they were wowed AGAIN! Just amazing work from Studio Dan Meiners and his team. But what I loved the most about this day were all the beautiful words spoken to and about these two sweet people. So much love and joy surrounding them on their wedding day. Congratulations – I can’t wait to edit your feature film!

Kansas City Wedding Videography – Village Presbyterian – Indian Hills Country Club – Claire and JC Sneak Peek Film

Jun 5

I think my favorite thing is getting to come back and celebrate a wedding day with a former family. The honor of being asked to film a sibling of a former client is not lost on us and we cherish these wedding days. Claire and JC had the most wonderful spring day in Kansas City and perhaps one of the most fun wedding receptions to date! You will see them celebrating in the latest slowmotion video booth video here as well! I can’t wait to tell your story with your feature Claire and JC – until then, here is a sneak peek and a darling first look!

Kansas City Wedding Venue Blog Series โ€“ The Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art

May 24

It is no secret that I adore the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art. This goes WAY back to my childhood taking classes in the summer and then continued as I completed my Master’s Thesis for Art Museum Education from KU working closely with the education department at the Nelson. I always figured I would somehow do work at this beautiful space, and although it has turned out to be a little bit different than I had imagined when I was studying for my Masters Degree, I really DO get to work in this beautiful space every year! What an amazing place to have a wedding. Kali and Adam love this iconic Kansas City space too and when they contacted me to film their wedding here I was beyond thrilled to help them. They were one of the first couples to have their wedding ceremony on the grounds of the Nelson and it was perfect! The reception in this beautiful space was stunning and their guests had a wonderful time!

Here is a little highlight featuring this amazing space and this sweet couple. Make sure you check out the interview below from the Event Planning Team over at the museum! This wedding is featured in the Summer 2017 issue of The Knot – so you will have to check that out on your newsstand.

Tell us a little bit about the Nelson-Atkins.

The Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art opened to the public on December 11, 1933. Located east of the plaza, the museum is known for its neoclassical architecture.
