It is always such a joy for me when I am editing a wedding film to find so many great words to use to tell the couples story. This wedding had all that and a little more! Even a teary Priest! That doesn’t happen very often. Lauren and Chris had the most beautiful fall wedding day and honestly so many great words and toasts that I was able to put together their story seamlessly. You can see the joy on their faces all day as their family and friends celebrate with them. I had a wonderful time as usual working with Patti Gehring and the boys from Blixt Photography.

Special Blog Posts – Real Wedding Features on some BIG blogs!

It has been a big couple weeks for Creative Films and our couples. We have had film features on three BIG blogs in the past couple weeks! This was one of my goals for 2012 – I wanted to get our beautiful weddings “out there” a little bit more. There are some amazing things going on here in the Midwest and I think we get overlooked quite a bit on some of the national wedding blogs. So I have been thinking about this while editing and since I tend to fall in love with each couple after every edit, I was worried I would have a hard time matching weddings up with blogs where they fit. Seems I shouldn’t have worried. 🙂 I submitted three wedding highlights and guess how many were accepted? THREE! All of them!! YAHOO! The funniest thing was that two of them were published on the same day! I suppose I should have spread them out a bit more, but I got excited. They have all been blogged here already, but I would LOVE for you to pop over to their new homes if you have been loving them and leave a little blog LOVE for our awesome couples! It is so exciting to have your wedding featured on one of these blogs and also feels so good to have some kind words about your day – lets show these blogs how us midwesterners take good care of each other and Talk them UP!

Brianne & Danny – Kansas City Wedding Film – Sneak Peek

This one is a little bit different. Brianne and Danny have the most amazing sweet story of their wedding day, but I am going to make you wait to see that a little bit later. Danny surprised Brianne by SINGING to her at the reception and it was so amazingly sweet and touching that I just had to do something special with it. Thank you Brianne and Danny for letting us be a part of your wedding day – you guys were wonderful and I can’t wait to edit your feature film!

Mikaeya and Arshia – Kansas City Wedding Video – Highlight

Oh my goodness. What an amazing couple and family and friends who came together to celebrate for Mikaeya and Arshia’s wedding weekend. Every time I turned there was something more beautiful to film! Both families and so many friends came together to create this amazing day for this beautiful couple. From the altar that Arshia’s family built in their backyard to all the hours that were put into so many little details at the reception, the day was truly remarkable. I so love it when couples write their own vows, and was overjoyed when I learned that Mikaeya and Arshia had done this for their wedding. Of course we can’t leave out the special appearances from the Kansas City Jazz Master Lonnie McFadden, the mariachi band, Persian knife dancing and lightup dance floor! Enough chit chat – you just have to watch!
