Oh my heart. And these sweet voices! What a gift to be invited to welcome this sweet soul to this beautiful family. Even better, is having the experience of knowing this family from the VERY START! I filmed Mike and Crystal’s wedding years ago, then sweet Savannah’s first year, as well as John! To say I was THRILLED when Crystal contacted me to make a little film of welcoming Luke to his new family is an understatement. What I wouldn’t give to have something like this of my babies when they were little. With me in it!! There is just something about the movement, and the voices of both the little ones and Mom and Dad that is just priceless. Even the bit of chaos and busyness of the kids is beautiful. Baby Alex and Big Brother Issac – Kansas City Newborn and Family Portraits
It is that time of year when I get to see so many families that I have known from the very beginning! I love love love to get to photograph my former bride’s and groom’s growing families. So many of them have become such dear friends and it is just a joy to get to see them at such special moments of their lives. Big bro Issac was so happy to introduce me to his new baby Alex – well, it wasn’t really a formal introduction, but he was super sweet and let me get a shot of him snuggling his little bro. That was all it took to make me happy! Congratulations sweet family and I can’t wait to watch sweet Alex grow up too!
Family Photography Session – Kansas City Family Photography
I have gotten a bit behind on some beautiful photography sessions with my sweet families! It has been such a busy wedding season, and it doesn’t look like it will slow down until December! Whew! Here is a sweet break in the weddings – I love this family – I have been photographing both girls since they were newborns and it is such a joy to get to watch them grow up! We had a beautiful morning at the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art just playing and exploring. So fun!
Nate – One Year Session
This guy was so fun to chase around a few winter days ago. I love finding neat little places in Kansas City with great light to photograph babies. Union Station is one of my favorite cold weather spots. Especially in the morning! We had the whole place to ourselves and Nate could just run around and explore. We had a great time. Happy birthday Nate!
Isabella is One! Kansas City Child Photography
I was so excited when Isabella’s mom contacted me to take her one year portraits! I shot her parents’ wedding video several years ago and was so excited to get to meet little Isabella. She is such a love, and such a great combination of her mom and dad. She stuck pretty close to one or the other and I love the interaction that we were able to capture of this sweet little family.
