Meg and Lison – Notre Dame Wedding – Sneak Peek Trailer

It is always an honor to be asked back to film a sibling or family member of a past client. It is even more of a joy and honor to have them bring you to their far away wedding! I met Lison and Meg at Meg’s sisters wedding last fall. I was so excited to get the call a few months ago that Meg was planning a wedding this summer to be held on the campus of Notre Dame in Indiana and they wanted me to film it for them. Wow. A little extra wow because Meg and Lison did all their planning from India where they live and work. So very cool. They had friends and family come to celebrate with them from all over the world, and Meg and Lison brought so many special details from their life in India and the Midwest to their wedding. Thank you so much for making us feel so welcome and giving us the opportunity to help you preserve this amazing day. I do think your first look in the woods was perhaps the most amazing I have ever filmed! Beautiful!

Cynthia and Charlie – Kansas City Wedding Video – Sneak Peek Trailer

I think this is the first time I have done a trailer from the groom’s point of view and I really love it! Due to the way the day was scheduled I was with Charlie before the first look with the bride and groom, and while I was bummed out that I wasn’t able to capture the bride getting ready as I normally do, I am thrilled with how their story is coming together from Charlie’s perspective. Cynthia and Charlie have the most wonderful friends who stood up and shared the most heartfelt words for them at their reception, not to mention how touching it was to see the bride and groom hug each friend as they walked back down the isle after the ceremony. So many personal touches on this day. Thank you for including me!

Lara and KC – Lawrence, Kansas Wedding Film – Sneak Peek Trailer

I always love coming out to Lawrence, Kansas for weddings. I used to visit every week when I was getting my Master’s degree and was actually quite surprised when I pulled up to the Oread Hotel on campus to realize that it was built right where my favorite sub shop and milkshake place used to be! The Oread is a beautiful new building that you would never know is new. Made entirely from stone, it is just stunning. The perfect location for Lara and KC’s platinum wedding reception. It was a beautiful day – thank you for letting me be a part of it!

Anne and Ryan – Kansas City Wedding Videography – Sneak Peek

I intended to post this yesterday for Father’s Day, but we got busy celebrating with our family and it just didn’t happen. I am admittedly a complete softy for Daughters and Daddies. Could be because I watch my own young daughter love her Daddy so much, or I reflect upon the relationship I had with my late Dad – whatever the reason the Daddy/Daughter thing is what, after 10 years of making wedding films, can bring me to tears in 2 seconds flat. This moment is here in Anne and Ryan’s sneak peek. The look on Anne’s Dad’s face as they get to the end of the aisle together and she is looking upon her new husband with such love it just amazing. Thank you Anne and Ryan for letting me be a part of your day, It was a lovely way for my husband and I to celebrate our 17th wedding anniversary too. – I can’t wait to edit the rest of your wedding film! There are so many special connections here I am not sure where to start! I have worked with Diane’s mom for years and gotten to see Diane grow from a sweet girl to such a lovely young woman before my eyes. She met this amazing man who ends up to be the brother of one of my very first wedding clients ten years ago! What fun to be a special part of this wedding day.
