SNOW and New Year’s Eve AND the most wonderful couple. It doesn’t get any better than that! What a fabulous way to begin 2013 and celebrate a new family! There is something magical about Downtown Kansas City and Waldo when surrounded by swirling sweet snowflakes and your best friends and family. Melissa and Jared embraced the snow on this unpredictable New Years Eve and had the most wonderful start to 2013 at the lovely Historic President Hotel. Melissa and Michael had a beautiful wedding the weekend of New Year’s and finished out 2012 in the most amazing way. So many family and friends came to celebrate with them in Kansas City. I think it was the best I have seen the Intercontinental Hotel, and definitely the most beautiful huppah thanks to Dan Meiners and his crew. A ceremony in the round is a beautiful thing for every guest, and I love that Melissa and Michael could see so many of their guests during their ceremony. Congratulations Melissa and Michael! I can’t wait to edit your feature film!

Brittan and Reed – Kansas City Wedding Video – Sneak Peek Trailer

I’m just not sure how my weddings keep getting prettier and prettier! I think it is hearing the voice and love from each couple and really just having the opportunity to help them tell their story! Reed and Brittan got to “see” each other without “seeing” each other before their ceremony and it was so charming and sweet. They had that amazing moment both before and then again at the altar. I don’t think I would have been able to do it! I would have jumped around that door so quick! But Brittan and Reed have much better will-power than I do and it was a truly special moment they will remember always.

The great band Galaxy got everyone to the dance floor and they had a super full and fun Hora dance that got everyone to their feet! I loved watching these two families come together and celebrate this new couple and beginning of the new family of Lauren and Jared. Congratulations!
