I’ve known Amy for several years as we have worked together on a series of corporate jobs, so it was such a treat to get to film her wedding day – and her sisters too! Such a meaningful day and so many special friends and family were there to celebrate with Michael and Amy. I loved hearing their sweet words to each other during their first look before the wedding ceremony and can’t wait to share the super fun reception with the talented Michael Beers Band and gorgeous ceremony at Visitation Catholic Church. Kaitlin and Travis celebrated beautifully in Kansas City over the weekend of July 4th. So many special family and friends came to celebrate with them on their day. We had the honor to film at their rehearsal dinner at the super cool Roasterie Bean Hanger and captured so many sweet words. They had perhaps one of the most FUN receptions and they danced their pants off to Galaxy Red, but you will have to just wait for the feature film to see that!

I always love coming out to Lawrence, Kansas for weddings. I used to visit every week when I was getting my Master’s degree and was actually quite surprised when I pulled up to the Oread Hotel on campus to realize that it was built right where my favorite sub shop and milkshake place used to be! The Oread is a beautiful new building that you would never know is new. Made entirely from stone, it is just stunning. The perfect location for Lara and KC’s platinum wedding reception. It was a beautiful day – thank you for letting me be a part of it!

Christine and Matt – Kansas City Wedding Videography – sneak peek trailer

There were so many pretty things about this wedding and so many really special moments that I am having trouble writing about it! One of my most favorite and really the most important was just the joy and happiness that you will see on Christine and Matt’s face throughout their entire day. You can tell they just loved every minute of it. And what is not to love! Beautiful ceremony by the Archbishop (who wore my microphone btw – personal best!) hearing Christine’s Dad hum the “here comes the bride” song during Matt and Christine’s first look moment, and a stunning reception at the beautiful Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art. I am so glad you chose to preserve this amazing day and your new family with video – this was a perfect example of why that is so important!
