There are so many special connections here I am not sure where to start! I have worked with Diane’s mom for years and gotten to see Diane grow from a sweet girl to such a lovely young woman before my eyes. She met this amazing man who ends up to be the brother of one of my very first wedding clients ten years ago! What fun to be a special part of this wedding day. Kim and Chris – Kansas City Wedding Film – Sneak Peek

We are wrapping this year up with some amazing weddings! Kim and Chris’ wedding was so beautiful and I was so honored to be asked to come back to film for this family. I filmed Kim’s sisters wedding a few years ago and it was so great to see them all again! This was a beautiful day and Kim and Chris took advantage of everything Kansas City has to offer. The ceremony at Redemptorist Church was stunning and the reception at Bartle Hall was just amazing. I loved the view looking out over the new Kauffman Center. This is just a tiny taste of what is to come in their short film – It is going to be hard to wait on this one!

Betsy and Mike – Short film

Well, we are ending the second week of the kids at school and I am SO HAPPY to start my wedding film blogging again with this beautiful piece! You may recognize the sneak peek from my website – it has been featured there for a bit. The entire film is just stunning! I was so lucky to get to attend Betsy and Mike’s rehearsal dinner, so we were able to include so many heartfelt toasts from family from that night into the short film. It was especially great for me b/c I filmed Betsy’s sister’s wedding a few years ago, so it was like visiting with old friends again! You will see all my favorites down in the details – from flowers, to photographer – it was a great night! Thank You Betsy and Mike for letting me help you preserve such a special day! Lesley and Matt – wedding highlight – kansas city wedding video

What a beautiful new family! It was so great to be able to celebrate with you both and capture your wedding day – not to mention visit with your wonderful families! I had the pleasure of filming Lesley’s brother’s wedding a couple years ago and it was great to get to meet their new little guy!

Lesley and Matt’s wedding was filled with so many personal touches, from the movie posters in the theater hallways, the popcorn boxes that her Dad helped make, to the awesome musicians and bands that filled the Uptown with fantastic sounds, and of course wonderful food, and a VERY cool cake!
