Jenny and Mike – short film

Mar 3

Pretty Pretty Pretty!  I could just leave it at that and be done with this one!  Wow! I have a special place in my heart for art museums and the Nelson Atkins is especially wonderful!  This was the first time I have shot a wedding reception here and it lived up to all my expectations.  What a grand location for a wedding.  Jenny and Mike you will have such special memories now every time you go to visit!  It also turned out that our families are connected with some dear friends, which I didn’t figure out until they started waving enthusiastically at the wedding. 🙂  Beautiful locations, FABULOUS couple, great families, favorite photographer, wonderful coordinator and spectacular flowers makes for one awesome wedding.  Enjoy!

(don’t forget to let the video load most of the way before you watch it – it will make it play SO MUCH more smoothly!)

Man oh Man!  More, more, more! Another beautiful family on a very colorful fall day! We hit the Nelson Atkins on the most perfect day – I think this was after several rain-outs tho, so we earned it!  what a fun family – the kids are just one year younger than mine, and our boys go to the same school!  actually, this family won their session at the school’s auction last year – yes I will be donating once again – so if you are a blog reader and your kids go to my kids’ schools keep an eye out for the portrait session at the auction this year! Thank you guys for a fun evening – and I have to add that I went straight to Red Snapper that night for take out – it was yummy!
