I don’t know, can you have a “wedding crush”? Well, if you can I do. This wedding. The colors, the style, the words, the FUN, the band, well all of it. LOVE. Not to mention the cool as a cucumber couple and bridal party who didn’t skip a beat when the back tire on the trolley exploded on a rush hour highway. Not to worry, they just all hopped in the photo/video teams cars and away we went to the ceremony! Didn’t miss a beat. LOVE. That is how I got a selfie like THIS! Don’t worry Mom, I didn’t take the picture.

I always love coming out to Lawrence, Kansas for weddings. I used to visit every week when I was getting my Master’s degree and was actually quite surprised when I pulled up to the Oread Hotel on campus to realize that it was built right where my favorite sub shop and milkshake place used to be! The Oread is a beautiful new building that you would never know is new. Made entirely from stone, it is just stunning. The perfect location for Lara and KC’s platinum wedding reception. It was a beautiful day – thank you for letting me be a part of it!

These two were so sweet – just listen to that note he gave her on the wedding day. Asking her out on their first date as a married couple to a surprise honeymoon location! LOVE IT. Beautiful flowers – those pink peony’s are AMAZING, and I think the high five cake topper was the very best! So many personal details make a wedding day so very special. Thanks for including me Blair and Truss – I can’t wait to edit your full film!
