This may have been one of the sweetest first looks we have filmed. These two chose to say personal vows at this very moment and they couldn’t have been more special. They were blessed with a beautiful summer day and perhaps some of the prettiest flowers I have ever seen. I have decided that I want to have rosemary springs surrounding me always. What a beautiful day! I am a little bit of a sucker when it comes to sweet Daddy toasts. This is the most adorable toast I have filmed! Pair that with the absolute look of JOY on Ryan’s face when he sees his bride walk down the isle and we have perfection. I LOVE a first look, but you can’t beat this expression! Not to mention the amazing venue and transformation of the Grand Ballroom in Kansas City! Just amazing. Kaitlin and Travis celebrated beautifully in Kansas City over the weekend of July 4th. So many special family and friends came to celebrate with them on their day. We had the honor to film at their rehearsal dinner at the super cool Roasterie Bean Hanger and captured so many sweet words. They had perhaps one of the most FUN receptions and they danced their pants off to Galaxy Red, but you will have to just wait for the feature film to see that!

Brittan and Reed – Kansas City Wedding Video – Sneak Peek Trailer

I’m just not sure how my weddings keep getting prettier and prettier! I think it is hearing the voice and love from each couple and really just having the opportunity to help them tell their story! Reed and Brittan got to “see” each other without “seeing” each other before their ceremony and it was so charming and sweet. They had that amazing moment both before and then again at the altar. I don’t think I would have been able to do it! I would have jumped around that door so quick! But Brittan and Reed have much better will-power than I do and it was a truly special moment they will remember always.

Katie and John – Kansas City Wedding Video – Highlight Film

Katie and John had a beautiful fall day to celebrate their wedding. The weekend started with a lovely rehearsal dinner at one of my favorite locations, the Boulevard Brewery in Kansas City. Such a great place to start a weekend of family and friends coming together. The wedding was at Country Club Christian Church, one of my favorite shots was the sweet flower girls making their way down the isle to John. After a beautiful ceremony they all headed over to the InterContinental and the Michael Beers Band kicked off a wonderful party. Holly and the team from Simple Elegance kept everything running like clockwork and every detail was perfect! It was a spectacular day and I was honored to be a part of it.
