Happy Easter – or Spring! Chick Pics!
I have been saving these mostly because I can’t for the life of me figure out which ones to post. I LOVE them ALL! We had the best time in the studio the other day with the baby chicks and ducks. Yes, we added ducks this year and I think they might be the most popular animal by far. We might just have ducks alone next year. My kids had a wonderful time all week with baby chicks living in the downstairs bathroom, and I am happy to report that neither dog had any as a snack. They have a new home this year, my sister in law took them to a friends farm, so we are hoping to get out there and visit those adorable ducks, Cole and Harry sometime this summer. So here are a few – each family has a gallery on the Maura Photography facebook page, so if you haven’t gone over there to “like” us, please do and check out the rest of these sweet babies and chicks!

Well we EARNED this great session didn’t we! It has been a beautiful fall in Kansas City, but our first session was rained out and this one came SO CLOSE! You certainly can’t tell from looking at these images tho. We had a beautiful sunny afternoon and the park to ourselves! What a fun family – these guys were just great – thanks for hanging in there with the rain!

Isabella is One! Kansas City Child Photography
I was so excited when Isabella’s mom contacted me to take her one year portraits! I shot her parents’ wedding video several years ago and was so excited to get to meet little Isabella. She is such a love, and such a great combination of her mom and dad. She stuck pretty close to one or the other and I love the interaction that we were able to capture of this sweet little family. Thank you so much for having me do your portraits – I can’t wait to watch this sweet thing grow up!
