So when my friend Petra contacted me about doing a promo for her I didn’t know too much about Boudoir Photography other than some of what I had seen around didn’t really do much for me. I am a bit of a feminist I guess and most of the work that I have seen really didn’t seem to be too empowering to women. I hesitated. So I checked out her work and really there is something quite different in the way the subjects are portrayed. It is hard for me to put it into words as it is clearly so visual, but these portraits seemed strong, and real, and celebrated the women that were in them. What a gift for a woman to give to herself or her special someone – Petra is amazing. Take a minute to watch her film, you will be hooked. I was. I went from not liking Boudoir photography to gifting a special little album to my lucky husband for our 17th anniversary. Sorry, you don’t get to see those here, but I can say it was a super fun shoot and a pretty unexpected present!
Ladies, if you are looking for a special something for your Honey, this would do it! And Men, what a treat to get pampered and made to feel so pretty – Bella Boudoir is the BEST!

How in the world did I miss this!??!
Maura,
Thank you. As a cinematographer, you possess skills that amaze me, from the moment we said hello I’ve had faith in your abilities – however – I had not known that I would be blown away by the end result. It’s almost as though you plucked my vision out of my head – even though I couldn’t articulate that vision. Exceeded my every expectation. Truly.
I’ve always said that I have an amazing job. My job allows me to connect with all sorts of women – women whose inner beauty enables me to capture their outer beauty with ease. It was both an honor and privilege to be able to provide you with PROOF of your beauty!
Much love and respect.
Petra
P.S. I’m jonesin’ for some coffee!
